First had: nitro-tap at their brewpub
ABV listed as 5.2% when we visited.
Dark brown pour with reddish tints around the edges, and a creamy tan head. Standard stout aroma of dark roasty malts and coffee. Similar taste, with ample dark roasty malts, notes of coffee, cocoa and subtle dark fruits. Medium body, but not too thin, fairly dry in the finish. Pretty nice overall.

A- Pours a Maple brown color with a tan head.
S- Smell of caramel malt. Robust with a chocolate and coffee note.
T-Taste of coffee and chocolate notes in the malt mild hop flavor.
M- Creamy and smooth like velvet cake.
D- Very good tasting beer for St. Patty's Day at Berwick and it was pack.
BTW. This beer suppose to be on nitro but I think it was on Co2 didn't get the same effect but the beer itself taste great.

A: Poured a dark, viscose motor oil color with an initial 3 finger dark cinnamon colored head that was fizzy/sudsy in nature and collapsed rather quickly to a bare surface with a solid rim lacing.
S: The nose was sweet roasted malt, dark coffee and some dry creamer notes.
T: The flavor starts out a little thin but displayed a nice rich, sweet roasted malting. There was some fresh coffee with some sweet vanilla creamer notes. The roasted malting was light and easy on the tongue and never bitter. There was some sugary ripe fruit of cherries and plums. The beer finished dry and clean.
M: a light-medium viscosity, oily texture and was very smooth and slick on the way down. Carbonation was light almost flat.Co2 but felt like nitro.
D: A nice dry irish stout. Picked up a growler of this on the way out. Easy and smooth going down with some milky sweetness.

Barley Farm Stout arrives in a shaker "pint" glass a dark, opaque brown color with close to 2 fingers of creamy tan head. There are mild aromas of roasted coffee and barley malt. Tastes of bittersweet mocha and roasted caramel malts. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Overall, a very flavorful and drinkable stout that will make you forget all about Guinness. But be prepared to enjoy this one in the tasting room only, since it is not available for growler fills as is the case with most beers flowing from a nitro-tap.
UPDATE: Guy has removed this from the nito tap and is running it on CO2 now. New review to follow...
