A: Viscose motor oil black pour produces a dark khaki frothy head of a modest statue. Retention was average and lacing was minimal.
S: The aroma offered a deep roasted coffee and sweet scent of burnt grains. Chalky, dry with chocolate powder it had a good sense of strength to it with a fade of charred fire wood bringing an earthy burnt scent in the close.
T: The flavor was dark roasted coffee, dry chocolate, tobacco, with a smooth and refined bitterness that just slides off the tongue. Flashes of sweet burnt grains offers some balance on the swallow. Lingering charred woodiness, very smooth flavor with a solid campfire minerality that was dark and rich, yet very refined off the tongue.
M: Medium-bodied, dry with a burnt finish and a silky texture. Faint but noticeable carbonation tingle.
O: Overall a big drinking stout, big roasted flavor that is both hearty, dark and rich, with a growler best shared with a friend, this will fill you up fast. Roasty, smooth and silky.
