Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is straw, slight haziness, head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents 1/4 inch thick, dissipates to thin top, spotting lacing.

Smell is slight corn and hints of base malt, crisp earthy and light grassed hops.

Taste is more neutral and balanced between base malt and corn, more grassed hops, light lemon, earthiness.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.

Overall a little sweet and a bit more bitter than some in this style but cheers to Berwick Brewing to upholding this classic style.

First had: on tap at their brewpub

Back to basics with this one. Pale, straw-yellow pour, clear, with a moderate foamy white head. Not too much on the nose, grains and light hops. Taste was simple and accessible, light toasted grains, sweet corn, pale malts, lightly bitter hops. This is the beer to offer people who come in asking for a Miller Lite. Crisp and easily drinkable, but not big on flavor.
