L- Quite dark chestnut, clear, pours with a 1Cm dense off-white foam cap (holds well). 4/5
S- No idea what to expect here... a bit rustic and quite fruity.
T- Follows the smell, rusticy, fruity, good body with just 'visible' ABV% and into a somewhat rich aspect tempered by a bright slightly estery finish.
F- Clearly a pretty solid proposition and yet that is well balanced by the bright/slightly bitter hopping. Easier to drink than might be typical of a 9% ABV.
O- I wasn't sure if this would be over-rustic, or dry/sour etc but it's turned out to be something quite superb. It's like a Tripel with a very minor added dry/bright edge. Two thumbs up and I'd happily buy it again.
750ml caged+corked bottle, £8.99 Bacchanalia, Mill Road, Cambridge

Cerveza de color ámbar con un cordón espumoso de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a malta y caramelo. En boca es maltosa, con rastros de frutos secos. Fácil de beber y sin hacer notar su alto nivel de alcohol (9%).
