330ml glass into tulip
L - amber, slightly hazy, thin white head that fades to a lacing fairly quickly
S - nice caramel aroma dominates, with some pine, kiwifruit and hint of peach
T - lightly roasted caramel malts, cashews then a peach / kiwi fruit spike, with a resiny spicy bitterness towards finish.
F - medium bodied, slick texture, low carbonation, well hidden ABV upfront but the warmness is felt after a few seconds
O - really enjoyable, nice mix of fresh kiwi bitterness and lip smacking caramel malt. Worthy of a round 2.

Had as a slow sipper, and really quite pleasant. Apricot and mango driven, add fruit salad, with a nice solid balance between sweet-ish malt base and not too bitter hops. Easy drinking for the ABV.
Nice to see TLBC having a try at bigger beers.

Pours amber with a large head.
Nose shows pine, resinous hops, lychee and massive sweet clean malt.
Flavours include lots of tropical fruit and fruit confectionery along with heap more of the crystal malt and some booze.

Mostly clear golden colour with a smooth, off-white head. Fair head retention.
Citrus and lots of grapefruit here. Develops as it warms. Quite rich. Light malt. Interesting.
Moderately-sweet malt then a good hefty hop hit. Moderate bitterness which is appropriate without any harshness. Solid grapefruit and passionfruit notes. Clean and balanced DIPA. Not as good as when it was first out but still very tasty.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite solid.
A really good DIPA for Australian standards. Solid hop character which is supported by good bitterness. Not too much sugar.

aroma: strong orange citrus with orange peel, candy, grapefruit and slight pine
taste: first impressions - orange wine. Orange, candy, lemon, grapefruit, spice/pepper, pine with some raisins and vanilla, slight brown sugar and rum. Nice strong malt backbone - beautifully balanced.
Very impressive double IPA.
