Drank it on a cold night. Might have rated better on a hot summer day. Nice enough though.

330ml bottle thanks to bluebetty, into a Fantome tulip.
Light golden appearance with a fluffy, small bubbled head of white foam on top. Long lasting retention and drips of lacing.
Little bit of bread and mainly biscuity malt coming through with the smell. Not overtly strong or decisive.
Tastes of the biscuity malt coming through along with a slight hoppy dry bitterness going on. Slight odd white stonefruit flavour late that doesn't help its cause.
Pretty decent body to it. A higher than usual amount of bitterness throughout for the style. Finish is a little dry, but can be pretty long at times.
Could be a really nice Kolsch. Finishes quite odd though. Odd mix of stonefruit, dryness and bitterness at the end that leaves you to wonder what's going on.

Pours gold with a large fading head.
Nose shows some bready and biscuity malt with fainy sulphurous notes and a fair whack of spicy hops.
A little of the bready malt follows as a flavour and some of the hops but otherwise its a bit dull. Very weak bitterness results in a seemingly sweet beer.
Body feels a bit watery.
