On tap at the Parish Publick House. Poured into a Unibroue goblet. Nice dark golden color with some amber hues, and a fluffy beige head that leaves some filmy lacing. Aroma isn't very hoppy so I'm thinking this is a more English-style barleywine. More of a brown sugar/dark caramel thing going on. Flavor confirms the non-hoppiness, lots of rich malty flavors including toffee, brown sugar, and maple syrup. A touch of overripe fruitiness and a modest bitterness as well. Well-carbonated and not overly strong, this is pretty drinkable.
