Look - poured from a 500ml bottle into a stemmed tulip glass. hazy. three finger+ foamy head with excellent lacing retention: almost a work of art.
Smell - predominately wheat with some underlying subtle banana/cloves, a lot less than some other hefe counterparts, but not in a negative way.
Taste - full hefe flavor, with tons of wheat flavor. yeast/clove/banana flavors also come through in the taste, complemented by waves of wheat flavor through the finish.
Feel - medium bodied, average carbonation, and standard in ABV at 5.3%.
Overall - a really really good hefe, though I expected nothing less from an authentic Bayern brewery.

Half liter bottle picked up at a getrankemarkt in northern Bavaria labeled best by 01.06.2024. Label says 5,3% ABV. Not as heavy on the banana and cloves as many examples of this style tend to be, which is why I like this so much. It’s brighter, more citrusy, a bit cakey, well-spiced. Easy-drinking for a Hefe. I could easily have another or a few more. Delicious!

From the half liter bottle. It pours a hazy light amber color with a nice white head. Lacing. Nose is banana with yeast and bread. Taste follows nose with breadiness predominating.

A really nice Hefeweizen, less malty that the sister Weizen from Maisel.

Bottle is beautiful (yes, it does make a difference when you buy it, marketing :) )
Found at a Getränke Shop in Baden-Baden, Germany.
Color is nice, served in a hefeweizen glass.
Very tasty, fresh and fruity.
A very tasty Hefeweizen. I would recommend it.

A - Light golden, nice head but it dissipated fairly quickly; nice lacing throughout.
S - Sweet, a little bit nutty, toasty.
T - Banana, fruity.
M - Dry, smooth, nice mouthfeel.
O - Very nice hefeweizen; dryer than most; but very refreshing. Definitely worth drinking again. A notch below Paulaner, though.
