Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of pillowy foam. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit and pine. A nice toasted caramel flavor with a sharp citrusy bitterness.

On tap. Pours a hazy straw color with a massive white head that lingers and leaves lacing halfway down the glass. Nose of citrus and dank hops. Taste is a there but not too there light malt, citrus and dank hops with a sweet, floral finish. Medium-light body and medium-high carbonation that is light and refreshing.
This is a fantastic take on the New England IPA. It's better than Happy Camper, and I really like Happy Camper. It's delicate and balanced, an unusually good take on the style.

Brewed for the New Mexico IPA Challenge.
Served in a 10 ounce nonic glass.
A- Frothy and sudsy pale white head. Golden and copper body. A tad cloudy. Trickles of carbonation. 4.5
S- Dank, sticky, resinous, sweet and a bit of berry-like fruit. 4.25
T- Okay. i like this. Definitely a more robust flavored IPA from SFBC. Dank, resinous, floral and then fruity. So much more flavor---and still clean-tasting--- than past SFBC IPAs. A good but not overpowering malt presence accentuates the dankness and carries things out with a sweeter note. As it warms, it develops a sweet tea flavor that I'm on the fence about. 4
M- Most of the bitterness is up front and shares the space with floral feel before a sweeter finish. It's burly-bodied and doesn't quite win on refreshing factor but you'll still chug one down. 4
The best IPA I can ever recall from SFBC by a wide margin. It's in the vein of Scale Tipper, Dank, Elevated and other IPAs so it's not groundbreaking, but that's my only complaint.
