intended to be a summer hazy, and i think both the hop profile and the abv fit that, seems tropical and fruity and modern, real light on grain and also on bitterness, which also lends to the summer vibes, and it feels good right now, as winter seems to be lasting forever, so this gets me amped for nicer weather ahead. the hops do not present as exotic or new to me in nose or taste, but the proportions are excellent and it seems very fresh anyway, citrus forward, sort of a mass appeal thing, and i dont miss a more dense and starchy body here at all, its a nice change of pace in fact, not real hazy in the glass, bright yellow, backlit, plenty of light coming through and all, which i am told is how hazebros measure the merit of a hazy, shorter white head here from the tap. the hops contribute clean lemon, mandarin orange from the can, pineapple juice, and white grape juice character, all of it kind of hits at once and this is on the dry side, so its fast for the style but i dont mind, some refreshment built in, it warms to aromatic white wine, subtle stone fruit, and has just a little tang at the end where bitterness might normally be, quickening it further, even a touch soapy late. mostly dry hopped it seems and that works fine, no real oils, greenness, or hop heft here, and this is pretty brisk and easy, could definitely see it hitting in hot summer weather. some may find it a little thin, but i like the approach.
