Served this Hefeweizen in a pint glass, on tap. Produced a thin white head, poor retention and lacing. The aroma had some slight hints of banana and clove- overall it was very weak. The taste of this Hefe was light in body, watery with some suggestions of banana and clove. Poor example of a Hefeweizen.

Poured from the tap a lightly hazy yellow orange with a thin white head.
Bready aroma with light lemon and wheat notes.
The taste was on the light side with lemon, cloves and bread.
Light bodied and wet with a light carbonation.
An average Hefeweizen from the folks at Buffalo Brewing Company.

Appearance: This has a great hefe color. It has a hazy, golden body and has a slight orange hue. When it was poured the head exploded.
Smells: Great banana and clove aroma.
Taste: Good banana and clove esters with just a little bit of a biscuit and yeast tones.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a lot of carbonation.
Drinkability: This is a great summer beer and is very refreshing.

In my glass this beer is almost yellow leaning towards blonde? Not expecting much hop aroma, but was expecting some cloves or banana-but I didn't get that in either the aroma or the taste. Taste is good-though I am not a wheat beer fan I found the taste to be smooth and clean. A little soapy? Mouthfeel is light to medium and drinkablity good-not my favorite style-but this beer will be a good quencher for the upcoming St. Louis summer
