Hey- Another Buffalo Beer that I get to do the first review for! This was a Belgian Golden Strong Ale that I got on draft at the brewery. This was poured into a 8 oz goblet. This beer poured a very hazy straw color. It produced a very thin white head. Head retention was very poor and it left no rings of lacing behind. The aroma of the Strong Ale was dominated by the Belgian yeast. It also had some slight notes of honey and pear. The taste of the beer was very strong, true to the style and was a combo of pear and honey. It had an almost syrup like character. The strong ale had a dry finish and warmed you up on the way down. Not a beer you can drink a lot of, but if you are in need of something strong- this will do the trick. Below Average example of a Belgian Strong Ale.
