Served on tap in a pint glass. The Porter poured motor oil black, produced a very thin tan head, had poor retention. Little to no lacing left behind. The aroma is minimal- some slight roasted malt notes but not much else. The taste of the Porter is very light in body for a Porter, and like most Buffalo beers- it is very watery- not a lot of backbone... for a Porter. The taste is not much to write home to mom about- a little roasted malt, some slight hint of caramel and coffee. I don't recommend it- Another disappointing beer from this downtown brewery.
