Served on tap at the brewery in a pint glass. The Pumpkin Ale poured a slightly hazy copper color. The ale produced little to no head, retention was poor and there was no lacing left on the glass. The aroma of the ale was of malted grain, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. The ale is medium in body, like most Buffalo beers it is watery. There is some pumpkin flavor, some pumpkin pie spice. Easy to drink, somewhat dry finish. Decent example of the style but there are much better examples available to go back to this one a second time.
