We use a great Munich style Hefeweizen yeast for this beer. Bananas, clove and of course the yeast. Brewed in late Spring and Summer only.

On-tap @ Front Street Pub in Belfast, ME.

A: Very hazy, golden-orange.

S: Yeast, spice. A bit hoppier than most Hefe's. Not typical.

T: Super tasty. Spicy, yeasty, malty.

M: Smooth, slight carbonation, great flavors.

O: A killer beer from a brewery twenty feet down the road. Unfortunately the brewery and Three Tides next door are both closed on Mondays!

Had this a month ago at Novare Res. 20oz pour into my chalice

A: Darker than most hef's. Lemon orange color, not unlike an IPA. Somewhat hazy. Minimal head, no lacing

S: I got mostly citrus fruit actually. There were some telltale signs on it being a hefeweizen though, like wheat and clove

T: Flavors include citrus fruit, wheat and flowers

M: Medium bodied. Dry finish. Fairly refreshing

D: Not your standard hefeweizen. No banana or clove flavor. More like a white. Good beer though
