A chocolate peanut butter porter. The best beer Marshall Wharf currently makes. The next best thing to the late Sexy Chaos.
Appearance is dark, black. Looks like a proper stout even though it’s a porter.
Smell is rich, subtle peanut butter and even more subtle chocolate.
Feel is rich but not thick. Moderate viscosity, very low carbonation. It could be a stout.
Taste follows the smell. Subtle peanut butter, even more subtle chocolate. Mild bitterness finish and aftertaste.
Overall, very much like Mast Landing’s Gunner’s Daughter. Which is a good thing.
