Poured on-tap and served in a pint glass, the beer is a muddled brown-auburn coloring with no head. Good cling of bubbly film as you drink. Aromas of rich malt, with crystal and caramel characteristics. The flavors are heavy plum and date, with lots of old world fruit profiles, and a strong malt and boozey blending. The aftertaste is rich and syrupy, with a cloying feel. The finish is rich, slick, and lingering. Strong flavors and an overall interesting brew.
