Poured on-tap and served in a stemmed pilsner, the beer is a brown to black coloring with hazelnut highlights and a thin ring of off-white head. Nose of char and smoke, with plum and fig sweetness and a heavy dose of blackstrap molasses. Rich flavors of molasses and port, with fig and date sweetness once again. Smooth and robust in mouth, with a heaviness and leaving a great lacing behind. The aftertaste is deep and darkly sweet. Smooth, slightly lingering finish. Very good brew.

"Our Belgian Royal Stout, brewed with two yeasts. One German Ale Yeast, and a Belgian strong ale yeast. Dark, rich and sublime."
Pours a pitch black thick oily colored beer, a small dark head.
Nose has cocoa, dark malts, caramelized caramel, light Belgian esters, some fig like fruits, nutty, little booze.
Taste is sweet, little roast, black malt, creamy lactose like, some earthy hops light, fruity with more Belgian esters and booze, light fig and toasted nutty, hint of an acrid tin like flavor. Long bitter finish.
Mouth is thick, rich, creamy, decent carb, some warming booze.
Overall decent, nice flavors, big and rich, a little too much maybe though as it loses any delicate flavors it would have had.
