Cask pour in a tulip, the beer is a hazy, bright, ruby-copper coloring with a frothy, white head. Much brighter than it's Bourbon Bowmore counterpart. Great cling as you drink. Nose of wood/oak with subtle fruit and resiny hops characteristics. Flavors of subtle char overtones, with a strong IPA backbone shining through as the barrel characteristics subside. Tropical fruit into the aftertaste, with a subtle resiny hops presence. Thin, smooth finish, with some white wine dry character. Very tasty.
