This pours a dark amber colour with hints of red. A centimetre of head with a little bit of retention.
The nose is dominated by dark fruits. A touch of sweetness - is it toffee?
Toffee flavours on the palate.
Medium bodied.
This Belgian style has never really done it for me but this ok.

Appearance - 4
Dark red, slightly cloudy, head died quickly.
Smell - 3.0
Smells like burnt caramel or toffee.
Taste - 3.5
Tastes of caramel, fruity flavours too, rather dry also.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Fine carbonation, very smooth, goes down easily.
Drinkability - 4.0
Definitely a session-able ale, I think it would appeal to most.
OVERALL - 3.5
Worth trying at least. The brewery is a really cool place to have a beer or two.

Deep amber colour. Clear. Small, white head. Poor head retention.
Lovely aroma with nice yeast notes of banana, fruit, a little green apple and some spice. Lightly sweet. Very good.
Yum. I'm digging the sweet, malty, yeasty complexity of this ale. For a start I get the fresh fruit flavours with just a hint of dried raisins. Then comes sweet (maybe even a little underattenuated) malts. The bitterness is just enough to round it out.
Medium body with moderate carbonation.
It is nice to see a brewery do a BPA as their pale ale. It's is a tasty and approachable beer.

A - Pours a clear dark orange/amber colour with a couple of centimetres of white head that falls away almost immediately.
S - A somewhat sweet toffee aroma is noticed firstly, followed by some fruity esters with a herbal touch.
T - Initially a sweet toffee charaacter is also quite noticeable in the taste, followed by herbal and spicy phenolic notes. There is a distinguised dry, bready malt character.
M - Medium to high carbonation cominded with the bready malt & phenols gives quite a dry finish.
Higher side of medium bodied.
D - Worth trying. Not 100% my cup of tea but OK for what it's supposed to be.
