Mostly black with cola brown highlights. Topped by a creamy beige head. Great retention and sheets of lacing.
Huge tart raspberry aroma, with hints of vanilla and milk chocolate.
The palate is dominated by fresh, tart raspberries. Tastes more like a fruit beer than a porter with fruit. A bit of toast, milk chocolate, and vanilla on back end. Crisp and clean and lightly dry.
Medium and lightly creamy mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
A fine raspberry porter! I wish a bit more of the porter showed, but the raspberry character is excellent.
