On draft at Ciao Baby, Commack, NY.
Poured a hazy brassy hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured fruity esters, a grassy hop and light doughiness.
The taste offered a clean round malt with grass and herbal hop notes.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a tasty APA.

Pale ale dry hopped with Motueka and Waimea hops from New Zealand.
Pours a clear, pretty golden color with a creamy head that left some webby lacing.
The aroma is of a bready malt with some honey notes. The hops are spicy with some orange and other citrus notes. Some candied citrus as well. There is a bit of earthiness to these NZ hops. The hop aroma is not super strong but its nice.
The taste is of a bready malt, again with a hint of honey. Not too malty. The hop flavor is of blood orange and a light pine, slightly soapy. Some lemon lime notes as well. Interesting combination of flavors from these hops. Kinda like dirty citrus. Hint of grass.
Moderate feel. Good balance. Mostly hop flavor on the palate with slight bitterness in the finish. Drinks well.
A very enjoyable APA. These NZ hops bring a different mix of flavors. Rick did a nice job with this.
