This multi-oat IPA comes in at 7.5% abv, an 8/23/18 release, and pours a medium gold haze with a finger of off-white foam on top... Moderately bitter with suggestions of juicy grapefruit mildly sweetened by pale fruit undercurrents... But the grain bill here, specifically oats, really rounds out the character, providing a super soft feel despite a modest carbonation, and a hearty oat flavor and aroma that sets the beer apart from a lot of NEIPA contemporaries - even those that use oats and lactose and whatever... I'm not always a fan of oat or rye (or corn or rice) in my beers, but this is an exceptional brew...
