Bringing you right back to your childhood. Crushing a stack of Eggo Waffles, piled high with slices of bananas and smothered in Maple Syrup! This sour is everything you are expecting and more. You'll get a ton of banana flavor and strong maple notes, this sour is exactly what you need!

I don't see a date listed on the bottom of the can or the label.
Appearance: It looks hazy and nearly opaque with a milky orange and yellow colored body. Some very hazy shadows show through the glass. There is barely a head which is white and forms mostly a film with a thin ring of bubbles around the glass.
Aroma: A faint scent of dried banana chips comes through at first. This is followed by a light and dusty maple syrup aroma, similar to when you sit down at a "greasy spoon" breakfast joint that has dirty menus. It smells odd but inviting. Everything about the beer smells old and stale but it seems to hold a memory of a better state or condition.
Taste: A sour character comes through which has a bit of raspberry. This is quickly transformed into a banana flavor and then a banana and faint maple syrup character. It then reverts sharply back to raspberry with the addition of a strong medicinal alcohol. The first elements of this beer are really good but then it devolves into this difficult medicinal character. The aftertaste is a bit like aspirin and isopropyl alcohol. The beneficial qualities of the beer are outweighing the negative ones by a thread.
Mouthfeel: It is medium-full and chewy. It is a slow drinking beer because of its difficulty but also because of its comprehension. It is odd yet somewhat interesting.
Overall: The beer feels a lot like an unkempt garden with a wild aromatic rose; death and decay surrounds sparse quality. It is a curioso beer for those looking for something a bit strange and interesting. The can notes this with a "Style: Sour Ale with Bananas, Maple Syrup." For a sour ale made with maple syrup, focused on the breakfast theme, there are better alternatives. I could pick it up again because I like how interesting it is and both the banana and maple qualities are good, but I would hope it loses the medicinal character and obvious alcohol presence. I don't really recommend it unless you seek out experimental beers. If you like experimental beers it's worth grabbing a single.
