Poured from the can into a teku glass.

Neat consistency pours a real liquid gold like color and thickness, with obvious viscosity. Filling the glass, very nice reddish orange color that is somewhere between copper and bronze like red and orange. Fairly clear with a touch of opaque look but not hazy. Head is expectedly low, off khaki and a bit more yellow in color with just a little over a finger height. Settles to a thin penciled collar, with some noticeable carbonation along the sides of the glass that is very fine.

For a large beer, the nose is quite a bit unexciting. There luckily is not a great amount of boozy heat, if at all which makes that fact pretty impressive. However, the flipside is a neutral malt and hop character, never mind anything unique distinct in the aroma. Slight resiny caramel notes, maybe a faint hint of orange marmalade but doesn't quite give classic barleywine notes either.

Palate certainly hits at a high abv, which dominates. Still many other flavors seem to be sledgehammered by this giant fussel quality. Minimal touches of pineapple and orange tropical punch. A cheap boozy fortified wine flavor but thicker, and surprisingly matching oily zest like bitterness. Body is virtual alcohol syrup, coating and thick, no sweetness but runs warm and punchy. The thickness in mouthfeel is truly too much, that just makes everything heavier in the drinking experience. Faint touches of biscuity caramel also.

It's an interesting take, a sort of giant fortified tropical hop punch, but even some other extreme beers, let alone classic high abv old and barleywine ales still deliver a much more enjoyable experience.

A - Pours a hazy dark orange color with dense, yet thin white lacing.

S - The nose is a big mess with alcohol. Pineapple and banana are definitely present along with a slight aroma that smells a little off like a home brew. (Sorry to say.)

T - Starts with alcohol...then pineapple...then alcohol...then banana...then alcohol...then lime...then alcohol...followed by more alcohol (you get the picture).

M - Thick body, lip smacking sticky, and significant warming on the way down.

O - I think this beer is more of an exercise in steroids. (!!!!!)
