Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a mostly clear amber-brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose starts the banana train off right away (that kind of Runts banana that evokes the previous generation of the fruit's attributes), then just kinda leaves us mostly hanging, bringing only some mild grass, flowers, and buttery biscuit in there if you care to try hard enough to sense them. The taste runs a similar gamut, though the other characters are actually allowed some screen time here. Make no mistake, though: everyone is keenly aware that the banana is the star. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. An interesting beer, though I don't think the banana addition really helps the base all that much, especially considering how loud it truly is. Does deliver what it promises on the tin, though, so...
