Picked up at the brewery.

A - Pours a golden color with a white soapy foam and bubbly carbonation.

S - Scent of wheat and sugary fruit. I was hoping for a bit more aroma.

T - Flavors are of light grains and malt, along with a sweet finish. It is fresh and tastes natural. However I didn't feel this was anything special as a wheat ale.

M - This is a perfect beer for the summer. Sessionable, refreshing, and light.

O - Should be a summer release. As a seasonal style it is a nice beer. But the watermelon, while all natural, is a bit gimmicky. I have yet to find a really good watermelon ale.

Pours a slightly hazy golden straw color with a short dense white head that settles into a light ring. Looks like a hazy pils.

The aroma is mildly grainy and has a light vinegary sour scent. Perhaps some tart lemon. Not really picking up the watermellon unless the sour aroma comes from the rind.

The taste is of light grains. The malt just serves as a base and doesn't really get in the way. It does have that sour punch again, lemony and acidic. Slight tin flavor. The watermellon does come through towards the end and provides a nice sweet flavor. Definitely no forced watermellon flavor here.

The feel is light and crisp. The pils malt makes this wheat ale fairly dry on the palate. Very easy to drink.

Not a particularly exciting beer but it is very drinkable and refreshing. Not sure if that sour flavor is intended or not.
