On tap at the St. George fire station taproom. Cool place with different levels and rooms - more like a bar. Solid stout with coffee/chocolate notes.

Pours dark coffee with nice fluffy khaki foamy crown at amazing beautiful Zion local brew pub. Good coffee stout with nice bite brewed locally under the local Utah 5%ABV limitations. Tasted amazing after an all day hike at beautiful Zion. Cheers!

Considering the absurd restraints of antiquated Utah laws restricting the ABV of beer to under 5%, they've created a stout with nice roasty notes and a reasonable body. A solid effort considering their hands are tied by ridiculous, antediluvian, extremist laws.

On tap at Zion
A- pours her black with a creamy khaki head that has good retention
S- smells of roasted barley, dark chocolate, char, espresso and light vanilla cream
T- bold and bitter dark chocolate up front, followed by a nice roasted barley note that adds hints of coffee, fig and caramel. The finish gives pure bitter dark and roasted barley that lingers long
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel and finish
O- dark chocolate and roast throughout, it drinks like Deschutes Obsidian Stout, and that’s a great thing.

Overall a really boring stout. Nothing really wrong with it, just felt a bit lacking. Not really watery, but the malt body of the beer just didn't have a lot of oomph. However, it was nice to drink after a long day of hiking in Zion.
It looked a lot better than the other options available at the time.
