I tried this at the brewery. It poured a darker clear amber with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle sweet berry like notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark fruit malt presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

I had this beer on draft at a pub in St. George after a day of hiking. I would certainly drink it again.

had on draft at the brewpub at the gates of Zion park.
Notes from the menu : "American red, malt forward and late addition Citra hops"
the red description is slightly off, as it's more amber in color. clear, with foamy off white head. by the aroma confirms the late hops, as there is a nice big citrus like aroma. I like a hoppy beer to have some malt flavor to balance out the taste, and this comes through. good mouthfeel, drinks easy. the best of the beers I had here.
