On tap at the brewery, hazy pale orange, white head receded quickly, no lacing to speak of. A mild hop aroma, flavor was almost non-existant. Thin, watery, but it was hot, I'll leave it at that.

Pleasant Willamette hop aroma
Orange with a little haze
Little malt flavor at all, some caramel. Hops dominate
Poor mouthfeel, with little maltiness. Very watery.
I would hardly call this an IPA. I actually sent it back and asked for a lighter style.
Given Utah's 4% ABV limit, ZCBC shouldn't have even attempted an IPA because they couldn't balance the needed malt profile with such a low alcohol. I would not recommend this beer to anyone.

Beer #19 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
An English IPA indeed. Has all the mellow tones with the thicker malt body and spicy hop tones that are vibrant for this style, though mild for the American interpretation; as it should be. Very easy to drink, good consistent profile, and a nice beer overall.

Quite orange-amber in the tall glass. Plenty of lacing down the glass and a good spritz on the tongue.
Light bodied, as are all these supermarket beers. "Three-two" equals 4% ABV. This one is pretty good, however. Warm and hoppy with a restrained bitterness. Long aftertaste of browned malt and piney hops. Some fruitiness. Seems to be very well made, with a pleasing fine carbonation. A little sharp, and a little of the dirty flavor, but quite quaffable.
From the 12 oz bottle, a single bought at Emigration Market in Salt Lake.

Appearance: A fairly amber IPA. Nice color, but nothing else of note regarding foam and lacing.
Smell: Faint hops and that's about it. Kind of average, to be honest, but not bad for any reason.
Taste/Mouthfeel: This struck me as a thin amber at first. I had just tried the Zion amber, and I noticed a lot more IPA qualities in that.
Overall Drinkability: A weak IPA.

Hop Valley IPA is a brownish amber colour with a light brown head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Its a very warm smelling IPA, composed of light hops with molasses. The taste is quite bitter but balanced well by the malt. Neither too heavy nor too light. Nice carbonation. Overall, not bad.
