Bright golden with a white head, flavor is light and refreshing with honey sweetness, and is balanced with Perle hops. Fermented below ale temperature for smooth flavor.

this sounds so good on paper, cooler fermentation, perle hops, lots to like about it, but in the glass its not very good, unremarkable at best, watered down and slack feeling at worst, not much here, and it was a disappointing pint overall, i didnt need much more than a cold crisp yellow beer, and this didnt even quite get me there, oddly filling for what it is, lacking bigtime on carbonation, and generic to me, malty in a tired and tiring way, not sweet or anything, but grainy, and its missing the cleanness i was expecting on the ferment, a bit amateur overall, and maybe the least impressive beer i have had from these guys to date. seems simple enough to get this right, so its a little concerning really. sunny colored to golden in the glass with pretty good clarity. head is hardly there at all, but could be a bar or bartender in the dive where i had it. the nose and taste are cereal forward with some bread weight and just a bit of late hop bitterness, somewhat nonspecific in terms of varietal, like there isnt much to go on here for that, just a little snap on the swallow, but the fermentation seems stressed and also maybe a little incomplete, some metallic character creeps in, and on the whole this left quite a bit to be desired. not flat but not fizzy and lively either, so not as refreshing as it could be. lackluster.

6/2018...pours bright gold, light foam. Faint nose. Simple clean taste. Hidden pils. Low carbonation. Some subtle honey sweetness flavoring rounds it out. Just so so.
