Q: “Why don’t you guys make a Session IPA?” A: “You mean a Pale Ale?” Q: “Well, sort of, but like a dry-hopped Pale Ale.” A: “We dry hop our Pale Ale. With Citra.” Q: “Oh...” Cheers to false advertising! Citra and New Zealand hops for an easy drinking hoppy ale.

6/2018...pours cloudy copper, heavy foam. Lids on top. Bready toffee nose. Subtle creamy easy drinker. Foamy. Like a dialed down pale ale. Not much happening.

This was my second beer on tap in Missoula. It was very similar to the Hat Trick IPA, which I had first, but slightly less hop forward and a bit more balanced. Like the IPA it is mostly citrus on the tongue, but quite balanced with a decent malt profile. On the lighter side of medium bodied with solid carbonation, a decent head and some chewiness. Very drinkable and very refreshing. Cheers!
