Sweet dark caramel malt flavors with hints of chocolate smokiness. Full bodied complimented by a clean finish.

From a 4-pack picked up at Town Pump in Polson, MT
16oz can poured into a La Fin du Monde tulip
P deep chestnut/mahogany w/ a 2f khaki head; good retention; med lace left behind
N soft-med sweet bright fruity raisin and floral notes; bright soapiness and applewood it as opens; definitely unique for style
T this one is tough to discern at first and again, has elements that are definitely different for the style; light roast combines w/ chocolate, floral, and applewood-like notes; chocolate lingers in the aftertaste
Mf light-med bodied and lightly creamy; med-high carb (which detracts from the profile a bit); good mouthfeel, but lighter for style
O not the typical scotch ale profile I was expecting, but decent in its own right; while the carb level could be toned down a bit, I dig the overall unique spin
