Many thx to muchloveforhops3 for the can!
A - Dark brown pour with dense creamy, caramel colored lacing.
S - Nice chocolate malt base with some toasty sweetness, Whiskey, oak, and light char. Really nice nose right here!
T - Toasted chocolate malt base with light residual char, oak, Whiskey, and a small amount of cherry presence from the oak barrel. Finishes with a nice balance between Whiskey and chocolate malt.
M - Silky thick texture with a little bit of thinness around the edges.
O - This beer is a winner!

from a 32oz crowler picked up at the source in Lakeside, MT on 04.01.23; split w/ my brother into a Bissell Brothers pint (mine) and Reuben's then & now glass (his); 'whiskey barrel porter'; 30 ibu
P black w/ a big, foamy tan head
N big nose of sweet whiskey and chocolate
T follows nose- a ridiculously delicious profile of decadent chocolate and whiskey, with light roast and toastiness to balance it out; simple, but well-executed
Mf notably smooth and creamy; fuller body for style; excellent
O from the appearance on, an all-around outstanding barrel-aged imperial porter; highly recommendable
