This creation is the biggest tongue coating hop monster we've ever created. Kelso used an absolutely ridiculous amount of Mosaic and Simcoe hops in making this nuclear hop bomb! Proceed with caution!

Snifter served tonight at the Boise pub... Pours clear dark golden with a nice white head that leaves behind good lacing.
Nose shows huge tropical fruit... a little berry and some citrus.. The pale malts move the hop oils up and out of the glass and bloom them a bit. Just an unapologetic bruiser. With warmth, a little EtOH becomes known but is ultimately beat back down by the hops.
Flavor is brutally bitter up front and then migrates to a tidal wave of mango and melon... lemon is present... some earthy pine... soooo much hop flavor that is never out of whack with the bitterness... again the pale malt is present but only compliments the hop fruit bowl.
Surprisingly drinkable despite the massive abv and IBU overload... My goblet went away pretty quickly and I never really noticed until I got up from my barstool.
Huge beer... Fantastic... I cannot stand they called it a "triple IPA", but that isn't on me. Kelso killed it... Props. Best DIPA I've had since I was on Boneyard and Barley Brown's turf last fall... And honestly it might be better than both.
