Bomber from Winco. Hazy orange golden with nice big fluffy head. Aroma is bread and citrus. Taste brings the bitterness, in a grapefruit sting your tongue kind of way. Juicy finish, not NE juicy, just orange juicy.

Not getting much of the promised orange. The aroma is a muted citrus with some matly butterscotch and alcohol scent. Taste is also malty and thick. Not much in the bitterness category either. Not sure how this is a "bitter orange" nonetheless it's not bad but not sure what the style is for this one. Try it but don't go out of your way.

The taste of orange is quite distinct, and yes it's moderately bitter. Hops are claimed to be the source of the bitter orange flavor, and are listed as Cascade and Amarillo. Clear orangey amber with plenty of forth. Sudsy mouthfeel with the fruity flavor is quite pleasing.
This is really quite fragrant and hoppy even after 10 months in the bottle. A better than average Pale Ale that conveys a lot of aromatics. Tangerine and a touch of piney resin. Hint of malty sweetness. From the 22 oz purchased at Litickers in OB.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/7/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a great American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very vibrant/juicy on hops, with a nice balancing malt backbone. A really enjoyable offering.

22oz. 10th anniversary pale ale, batch #2 of 4. The hops used in this "product" gives off nuances of Bitter Orange. (scarequotes mine)
Served in a pint glass; beer is pleasantly pale and medium yellow-orange with nice head formation. Mild citrus hop aroma. Maybe a little bit more orange than the typical citrus profile of a dry hopped IPA? Flavor has a really distinct citrus rind flavor, astringent and even a little mouth puckering. But once you get past that I don't find the beer that hoppy. The body of it is quite mild in comparison. Between the excessive initial flavor profile and the aggressive carbonation, the lack of a middle is really letting me down.
