12 oz. Bottle
Bottled On: 08MAR17
Poured into a tulip a hazy dark orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with some citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with some citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. Medium body, ABV hidden nicely, with a little dry/bitter finish. Overall, still kinda tasty. Fuck, almost a year on this bottle.

-Spiegelau ipa glass.
A: Dull orange with peach highlights the coloring with a dense nature of turbidity. Good show of carbonation with a milky, froth head of oatmeal coloring with a moderate rate of retention. Lacing sticks very well to the vessel walls. Overall juicy appearance.
S: Juicy citrus-pineapple aroma and alcohol mix with pleasant results like a mixed drink. Sweet resinous pine oils and grapefruit give the nose a burst of tart refreshing boost and nature. The finish has a delicate dry hop touch of whole peaches, flowery hops, and breakfast juice.
T: Hoppy flavor, tart citrus and juice like appeal with pineapple. The alcohol is quite prominent, with dry pine and flowery hops along with tangerine peel and a bite on the finish. Fresh toast, baked crust make up the malty aspect, while a lingering of flowery citrus alcohol concludes for a brief moment on the swallow.
M: Softly carbonated with a creamy, medium rate of weight. Soft texture, smooth and a warming of citrus flowers and alcohol on the swallow.
O: A nice aromatic approach, along with a nice blend of tropical citrus and alcohol. Toasty grains backing, flowery dry citrus hop all make for a good blend and very drinkable experience.
