Bottle from Albertsons. Clear golden pour with abundant fluffy head.Straight forward piney, hop aroma. Taste is bright and clear, nice crisp piney hops, true to its moniker. Grainy malts and piney hops both are in the mix here, malts driving the flavor, hops driving the finish. Back to basics for this APA,

Golden amber in color, mostly clear. Thin, bubbly head with minimal lacing. Aroma is ripe fruit, perhaps a bit on the overripe side, yeast, and some pale malt. Flavor is citrus and fruit with some pine, and spice from the hops in the finish. A bit astringent, and it could be slightly more balanced. It drinks more like an IPA, and not a spectacularly good one. Ok overall, but not one I would necessarily buy again.
