Hazy copper pour from a 22 into a pint glass. 1 inch frothy head that settled nicely. Aroma is a bit musty and mottled. Taste is much better. Pine and citrus with a nice, long lasting bitter citrus finish. Feels substantial without feeling thick. I could see enjoying this beer with a plate of garlic fries or other high flavor salty food- this beer can cut through and hold its own, resetting your palette for the next bite.

22oz bottle from 10 Barrel's Double IPA series. Beer pours a pale straw yellow in color, with bubbles and slight cloudiness, and immense head formation. Fresh, fruity, and bright hop aroma. Flavor has more of a bitter edge to it, and is accompanied with an aggressive carbonation. Though the alcohol level is high and the flavor on the harsher side, the combination on the nose and tongue works really well and results in a highly enjoyable DIPA.

Draft at Boise brewpub. Bright orange with tiny ring of off-white head. Citrusy aroma, oranges. Tastes bringS the hops forward, citrus remains, orange peel . Very tasty. Slick.

Bomber purchased at a grocery. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a pale gold color, clear, with a small white head.
Smell is a very sweet pine scent.
Taste is well balanced, a sweet bread flavor up front, with a pine and citrus flavor on the finish.
Mouthfeel is smooth and slightly cloying with a wet bitter sweet aftertaste.
Overall a nice IPA. Reminds me a little of the Tricerahops from Ninkasi.

Strong rotten flower notes. Unappealing bitterness afterwards. Damp cloth. Overall, for a beer of this strength, it has neither the brightness nor the thick malt to make it a drinkable beer. I just felt like I was licking a 3-day old damp mop.
