Hazy gold with three fingers of cream color head. Rings and swathes of lace as the head drops.
Smell is sweet malts with floral hops.
Taste is floral citrus hops with a good caramel malt backbone.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish is medium dry and fairly well balanced.
Overall this beer is old. It would be much more hop forward fresh. Still drinkable just a bit tame. Best by date is 8/26/19. Which is tomorrow.

Clear orange brew with a decent pile of foam in the wide-mouth Orval chalice. Malty and rich with an astringent finish. Loads of hops. Mellow malt, tingly carbonation, and stops short of being acidic.
Big aroma of pine with a whiff of papaya. Some sweetness with the bold cereal taste. Grilled orange and a sharp pineapple finish. It does get more acidic as you sip. Aftertaste is suitably bitter, but overly bitter to my taste. From the 12 oz bottle in the mixed 12-pack purchased in the Northwest.
