12 oz bottle from mixed pack. Dark golden pour, small tight head. Aroma is bready, faint citrus notes. Taste also comes off as kind of bready, light citrus peel bitterness. Definitely blood orange, but in a pretty tame quantity.

Three 12oz bottles from an assortment pack purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
Bottles are dated 08/OCT/19. Served in a pint glass.

Look- Slightly hazy, light amber color. Modest little white head that recedes quickly. Moderate amount of lacing left in the glass. Decent amount of carbonation visible in the glass.

Smell- Sweet orange, honey, bready malt, some orange pith and some muted pine.

Taste- Sweet orange, malty with a lingering pith and pine bitterness.

Feel- Light bodied, lots of carbonation on the tongue, dry.

O- Not bad, but pretty mundane overall. Wouldn't buy it if it didn't come in this variety pack.

Slight haze in the amber brew with plenty of foam in the chalice. Quite citrusy. Even a hot touch on the lips, like tangerine peel. Quite orange flavored and a long nose of citrus peel. Inviting sudsy mouthfeel.

Moderate bitterness. I have to say this is a better orange-flavored beer than most, with the dry finish. Just enough malty sweetness and a substantial body. It's a little intense for more than a short glass, but an interesting variation on the fruity IPA. From the 12 oz bottle in twelve-pack mix of IPAs.

Can't help it, this beer brings to mind nearly the exact taste of Halls orange cough drops. I definitely get the blood orange + honey. It's got a nice IBU, typical of west coast IPAs, but also a touch more lingering sticky sweetness. It's not a bad beer per se, middle of the road, but I rated this low because I can't get that association to cough drops out of head when I drink this.

10 Barrel got bought out by InBev and honestly, I haven't tracked the brand close enough to know if this has had any impact on their quality. I've had one or two great beers from 10 Barrel in the past few years, so this won't' put me off the brand.

Nice looking pour, faint haze, light head which fades away. You can definitely pick up the fruit with the nose for this one. A sip brings out a citrus right up front, bitterness on the tongue, not too much else. As an IPA, it has a little less going on than we like. Seems to be abit short in the malt base that should underlie a solid IPA. Not a bad ale, could be pumped up a bit.

Lightly hazed gold with three fingers of white head. Rings of lace form as the level falls.
Smell is orange fruit with some bready malt.
Taste is fruity hops with malty backing.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is mildly dry and balanced.
Overall a tasty and light IPA.
