Just an ordinary IPA, nothing special. Pours an orange clear hue with a medium head and a little lacing which dissipates quickly. IBU's come in at the finish with a bite. Shared a bottle with a friend and both of us agreed on the taste and aroma. 67 IBUs Rated 11-1-2020

i believe i read that this was done with comet hops, a cool selection for a beer like this, and i like that they allow it to be bitter. all the beers in this hop project pack are nice, but this one especially so. this is slightly maltier in color than is trendy now, not quite amber though, and with a good head on it, close to pure white, nice retention and a little lace as it drinks. it immediately smells piney and dank, wintery and resinous, foresty and bitter, fresh of course, and deep, more intense than just dry hopping can deliver, at least it seems that way to me. a light caramel grain element in support in the background. the flavor is similar, bitter orange, oily pine, definitely a winter season profile to the hops here, seems dynamic for a single varietal, if in fact that is what is going on here, the grain is bigger feeling but not so robust in the flavor, this is all hops, lingering long at the finish too. really nice beer for this time of year, drinks like a bold pale ale, good balance, nice older school hop complexion, assertive but not a hammer, very tasty.

Bottle from sampler pack. Medium holden, light haze, nice cap of head. Aroma is light ftuity, citrus, tropical notes. Taste brings. Citrus, melon, pineapple, mango. Light, but refreshing.

1 month old bottle poured into a pint glass. Gorgeous golden orange color, really good 2 finger head with great retention, falls down into nice lacing. Very heavy carbonation that holds well. Piney hoppy nose with some fermented citrus funk. Pour is good and clean, body is medium with a good soapy mouthfeel. Taste is hop up front, rounding off into some tang of malt and fermented citrus, finishing with a lasting bitter pine twang.
A decent IPA from 10 barrel, would buy again, but it is not mindblowing or anything.

Three 12oz bottles from an assortment pack purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
Bottles are dated 30/SEP/19. Served in a pint glass.
Look- Slightly hazy, medium golden color. Small, bright white head that slowly recedes. Small amount of lacing left in the glass. Minimal amount of carbonation visible in the glass.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, tangerine, lemon), pineapple, pine, grass, caramel/malty. The pineapple gets bigger the more the beer warms.
Taste- Taste follows aroma with the pine and grassy flavors being more prevalent. There's also a faint tropical fruit going on. Bitterness is pretty heavy.
Feel- Medium bodied, nice carbonation on the tongue, dry.
O- Very old school West Coast style IPA, pretty tasty. Don't think I've ever had a single hop beer that used comet hops. Worked out well. It would be nice if 10 Barrel did this one by itself in 6 packs.

Clear golden amber brew with coarse foam in the Hopleaf goblet. The flavors are quite pleasing, though the bitterness compromises much of the pleasure. Green honeydew, green pepper, and lots of peach. AAAAhhhhh, astringent finish. But the aromatics are clean and fresh. Fresh cut alfalfa, hay, and canteloupe.
There's a bit of sweetness with the tangy finish that stops just short of acidic. Aftertaste, however, heads for the bitter depths. From the 12 oz bottle. OK, I admit I bought the mixed 12-pack. I promise I'll stick with the local IPAs and skip the ABInBev products.

Hazy gold with three fingers of white head. Rings of lace appear as the level drops.
Smell is dank hops.
Taste is dank hops with light amount of bread crust malt.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and balanced.
Overall a tasty light IPA. Easy drinking.
