light, bright, drinkable, and well made, but a little thin and boring as they go, and for my money, they have a lot of other pale blonde and lager types in here that carry a tune a little better than this one, but it checks the boxes for the style and is nice with some of the heavier food they have in here. a refresher, and with some definite german character, especially in the yeast, which actually is the most flavorful element in here, and in the simple crackery malt base as well. its not quite as crisp as i like in the style, not as resolved in the finish, but still really drinkable, its so light, carbonated, and clean to finish that i could really drink a ton of it. i like a brisk mineral profile in the style too, and this doesnt really have that, but its not without its authenticity either. as much as this is kind of just a yellow drinker, its a professionally made beer, which i have come to expect from these guys now, even when its not overwhelmingly interesting, its always at least good quality objectively speaking. enjoyed this one with the wings, but its not one id race back in here for...
