a very solid example of the style here, a cool and fruity forward hop profile, relatively distinctive, and the beer is dry and clean and very well carbonated, without any weird esters or sharpness that a lot of them have, and not so hazy and thick like some can be too, real delicate in feel, even though its on the stronger side and has some body, the dryness and the bubbles keep it drinking swiftly. its really pale, almost whitewashed yellow looking, with some hazy and a frothing white head and prickly carbonation. it smells like citra and maybe amarillo or huell melon or something, kiwiw fruit, honeydew, sweet meyer lemon, fleshy lemongrass, really springy and bright and alive to me, id love to know exactly what the hops are. the body is there, but the malt flavor is very light and pale, some wheat likely in the mix fluffing it up a bit, some pils, its basic. the yeast is clean and the work it has done is complete, this is crackling dry and really almost refreshing with all the carbonation. it doesnt warm up as well, but its a pretty quick drinker so that wasnt really an issue. nice with the fish tacos in here. 10 barrel has a good thing going here in boise it seems...
