I got a couple of bottles of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from an Albertsons in Boise, Idaho. The beer poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with mild fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Sixer nabbed at a Safeway grocer (i.e. Safeway Liquor divided from the actual Safeway grocery store) in Colorado:
6.2% ABV. 50 IBUs.
Floral, juicy, citrusy, and a bit pulpy, but it's very shallow if not understated. Depth of hop flavour in this is poor...
2-row. Wheat malt.
Texture is a bit too pulpy thick for its lack of flavour. Smooth, wet, well-carbonated.

This hazy IPA was a game-changer for me. Subtle bitterness is met with a pleasant accompaniment of fruit and it's nicely balanced. Refreshing, not overpowering, and deserving of a second serving.

Appearance: Pours a near completely hazy pale, but somewhat dark, lemon color with a soft white head. SRM of 7 due to the darkness. (4.25)
Aroma: Aromas of pineapple, mango, and peach mostly. Some citrus in between. Nicely crafted. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor is even stronger with nice lemon, pineapple, grapefruit flavors with mango to back it up. Still very nice and citrusy and a moderate amount of sweetness. The flavors coalesce quite well here and dance beautifully. The citrus sweet finish is tasteful. (4.50)
Feel: Strong carbonation. Nice and balanced, but crisp feeling on the palate. Just enough sweetness to make you want another sip here. (4.25)
Compared to Sierra Nevada's Hazy Little Thing 8/16/20: Pours a lighter color. More lemon citrus, grapefruit flavors. Less melon and tropical. Similar pineapple, but lesspine. Overall dryer, crisper, and cleaner. Winner: Hazy Trail
Overall: Quite an impressive hazy IPA. A truly hazy IPA in terms of appearance with the slightly darker, hazy appearance than I was expected. Then the aromas and flavor back it up and it drinks quite delicious. The lemon, pineapple, grapefruit combine well with a light, but appropriate mango backbone. Finishes it off with a perfectly balanced feel. This is one of the better hazy IPAs I can remember for a while. (Final Rating: 4.29)

As a hazy Ipa it's up there with Deschutes for a casual drink. Among its northwest brethren it might be average but against most competitors its gonna win.

12oz can poured in to a nonic glass. BBD is 04MAY20
Look- Hazy golden straw color. Modest bright white head that recedes slowly to a thin cap of foam, solid lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (orange, grapefruit and lemon), pineapple, nectarine, bready malt, light pine and spicy/grassy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, pithy citrus, nectarine, bready malt, resinous pine, lingering astringent bitter finish . A lot too bitter to be considered and NE IPA.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, dry and somewhat crisp. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.
O- Basically a decent WC IPA that went unfiltered. Not terrible but definitely one of 10 Barrels lesser offerings.

Look takes on the appearance of unfiltered apple cider. Very little aroma. Feel is almost astringent. Taste of a little apricot and hops followed by malt.

At the Crosscut Taproom in Castle Rock WA.
Hazy for sure. Got a NEIPA, it’s bitter without the depth of flavor you’d expect.

12 oz can best by 01Apr20. Pale and deeply hazy, with a thick white head. Strong tropical punch aroma with a hint of pine. Flavor is juicy with pineapple and guava, but still retains an edge of classic C-hop bitterness. At 50 IBUs and 6.2% ABV I think it does an excellent job bridging the gap between NE IPA and NW IPA. Sure there are better NE IPAs out there, but this is still a very good beer, especially if you're not looking for the "all juice, no bitterness" combo.
I'm very pleased to see that 10 Barrel can continue to churn out solid, enjoyable beers, even new varieties, years after their new corporate overlords took over.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.
AB-INBEV owed brewery, not surprising that no where on this can does it say where it is brewed. Smells a tad citrus-like but then more herbal and then flat. Its hazed out, some chunks floating around ... not appealing. Mild citrus edge on the palate, some bitterness with a nutty malt / yeast combo. Hint of fruity esters, mildly crisp and lands semi-dry with a somewhat muted aftertaste.
Not sure what to think of this one, doesn't even come close to the half decent haze bomb out there that everyone is doing. Pass on this one.

solid but generic, yet another hazy, as if the market infiltration hasnt been complete enough, we still have new ones coming in, its not bad at all, but this could be from anyone, and i wouldnt rank it among the best hoppy beer from these guys, which is one of the things they do the best in my opinion. its quite hazy, muted pale straw color, a bit thick and murky. it might look fine in a small glass, but in a big mug its unappealing, more of something that looks like this than i generally want. aroma and flavor has some peach and generic stone fruit character, a little green bite, and a raw almost batter or dough character to the grain side, just too starchy for drinkability, at least for me personally. the thing is, the taste is great, hints of passion fruit, mango, and tropical brightness, but the mouthfeel really drags it down. like the same hop profile in a clear and well cleaned up ipa would yield an excellent beer i reckon. the carbonation is fine, but its too late, its already heavy as heck. some juiciness to this, some oily even almost bitter or acrid hop linger on the palate, but a good fresh flavor overall. enjoyable drink, but in a smaller dose i think. it feels forced overall, their other hoppy beer is good, why bother with something like this? better than i am making it sound, but fatigue levels for the style are running high...
