i think this is way underrated here, one of the better crush beers ive had in awhile, even if it looks a little sloppy from the tap, all dull and cloudy and kind of thick for being so low alcohol, visually rough for sure, but the taste is there. the guava is natural and robust at the same time, not forced or cheap in any way, tropical and pure, and not run over by other fruits like it always seems to be in beers. it does well on its own. the lactic tartness to this is good, a little sharper than some of the others, but also really clean, almost surprisingly so based on how it looks. great tang to this, subtle nuances of orange and coconut and lemon flesh in behind all the juicy guava, and this is at once mouthwatering and refreshing, again, despite its appearance. it could feel a little lighter, be a shade drier and more carbonated, but the flavors are really good. a little wheaty grain base keeping it beery enough, and it doesnt fall apart as it warms up at all either, which commonly plagues this sort of thing. better than it will probably ever get credit for being, but also not as refined as it should be for these guys. a nice surprise, a very accessible and distinctive sour with a very honest guava taste.
