on tap at the boise location, a real nice brew. not as cloudy as a lot of these, a little more orange than yellow too, but with a frothy inch of white cream head from the tap and the right wheaty look more or less. it smells yeast forward but not overly estery, a hint of clove, white pepper, and pear, as fruity to me as it is spicy, but well enough restrained too. the wheat is a little sweet, not as earthy or even raw as it can sometimes be, and not as fluffy feeling either when i get to drinking it, still got body, but its missing some of the wheaty softness i like in the very best of these. nice mix of flavors though, slightly more classically malty than a lot of these, including the residual sugar, but an authentic yeast profile that features a little lemon and orange too. warms up favorably as well. good structure, good carbonation, good flavors. i have come to appreciate the more exotic stuff in here the most, but this is fully serviceable. i always forget how much i like this place, need to start going more...
