Clear amber gold colour with a creamy, off-white head.
Massive bourbon aroma with fresh vanilla and oak. Slightly citrussy.
Mild malt with a touch of date and bourbon. Mild vanilla.
Medium body with moderately-low carbonation.
A good session ale with an interesting kiss of bourbon.

On tap at 10 Barrel pub, Bend, OR 6.16.11, $6 for 10 oz. poured into tulip. Part of Brewer's Select series.
1/2 finger off-white head, quick dissipation with minimal lacing retained. Orangish amber cloudy body, unfiltered, no visible carbonation.Big dose of bourbon in the nose, vanilla, good charred notes, some bready malts subsumed by bourbon presence, floral hops buried. Taste mirrors the nose, the bourbon is the boss, while I picked up some typical English bitter notes on the back end the Bourbon barrel aging (I asked what type of barrel it was and the barkeep told me he *thought*it was Evan Willaims) made for a farily unbalanced, but tasty beer. Mouthfeel is medium, no effervescence, a slight bit of stickiness. Not for the faint of heart, but I imagine most fans of barrel aged beers will find this a very interesting brew.
