The name translates to “Beer Buddy” and this little known beer style is the Japanese Rice Lager version of an American Macro Lager ( Coors Light/Bud Light). Extremely light, easy drinking, and approachable, similar to a Sapporo, Pacifico, or Corona.

Taster flight at Boise brewpub. Pale, clear golden pour, wispy head. Grainy aroma with a mild fruity edge. Taste is clean, sweet, biscuity with a touch of lemon.
