This one is right in Stacey's wheelhouse. Beautiful color between a brown and a porter with a white head. The smell is sweet malt and hay. The taste is sweet, subtle, and very well balanced between the malt and light hops. Extremely drinkable. Could drink it all night.

Has an unbroken sheet of light tan froth covering the coal black brew. Has a faint grainy aroma and not much else. Tastes of roasted grain, faint florals, currant and caramel, but all muted. Medium and a bit rough at the edges. This one needs something more.

On tap into 22 oz Marshall glassware. Ruby tinted brown color with almost no head. No lacing or obvious carbonation. Aroma of munich malts and toffee. Smooth body of malts, toffee, and caramel with noble hops to balance out the taste. Enough bitterness from the hops to balance out the sweetness. Medium body and light carbonation. No alcohol aftertaste. It has more body than it looks like it has, which makes the mouth feel pretty good.
Fair attempt at a dunkel lager. They hit the mouthfeel on the head but it was slightly sweet and could have used more hops.
